Booked Kamena via research on Google. About 4 k outside Split in a lovely village on the hills surrounding the city. A welcome relief from the city centre and an easy bus journey which the owners supplement with a daily drop off and pick up from the centre of Split. Excellent rooms, kitchen, location and a pool for those hot summer days. This is a perfect place for travellers run by a couple who want to create a hostel they would have wanted to stay at when they travelled. We stayed there in low season so too cold for the pool and just us in the hostel but the owners made up for lack of other people and we used Kamena Lodge as our stop over several times when travelling from dubrovnik , Hvar and Krka. Choose here for that perfect stopover and watch out for Tyson, the cat next door! Lukeyboy65. (TripAdvisor.com)
